Life Membership is the most prestigious award available to recognise the exceptional contributions of an individual and therefore are only awarded in exceptional circumstances. Cathy has a general attitude and overall demeanour that reflects her dedication t...o the values of AFL and has demonstrated all requirements of exemplary service and valued leadership that benefits and reflects upon the South Toowoomba Football club, players, umpires, the league and the AFL community.
Cathy first became involved with football at South Toowoomba AFC in 2008 and quickly involved herself enthusiastically. Cathy has been involved heavily in many aspects of our club from running the canteen for many years, a constant representative at club meetings, fundraising, running water, team managing, team runner and generally helping whenever and wherever she can, over an extensive period of time as an outstanding volunteering capacity demonstrating a significant sustained and high quality service to both Junior’s and Senior’s, enhancing the reputation and future of our club. Cathy has demonstrated a significant contribution to the sporting success of the South Toowoomba AFC on and off the field.
Cathy has made a significant contribution as a valuable volunteer and has demonstrated and sustained a high quality service enhancing the overall reputation and future of our family club and local AFL community.
