Our Bombers mens team is about to fight for the greatest prize in AFLDD football. Its been a long 7 years since our proud clubs last premiership, but under the guidance of master Coach Shaun Reardon and his right hand man Andrew Smith is this the year to break the drought?
The season has been near perfect so far going through home and away season undefeated. But of course a loss in the big one will be a nightmare for the red and black family.
Captain Dan Lyon will need to lead from defence all day and look to the likes of Pontt, Rissman and Myles in the guts to provide the grunt when challenged by a very good Uni midfield group. If they can get on top and deliver to the dangerous Forward line with names like Webb, Kratzman, Leidig, Crow and Bourke. This will go along way to getting on top of University.
The boys know all too well that 17 -0 means nothing on Saturday at 3pm as everything goes on the line in the big Dance. This is shaping up to be a great contest.
Hoping for a massive Red and Black crowd to cheer the Men on. Make sure you get up to Heritage Oval on Saturday 10 September to watch the boys in action. Game starts from 3pm.
