Cockburn Basketball Association is excited to announce that John Triscari will continue as Women’s SBL Head Coach and also that Adam Nener has been appointed as Men’s SBL Head Coach.

John Triscari’s first year at Cockburn as Women’s coach saw the team make finals. He is a very experiencedcoach with a long list of qualifications and credentials. John is well-planned and prepared and has extensive knowledge of basketball development. As a coach, John is a big believer in club culture and will be assisting in the pathway of Cockburn juniors into high-performance programs.

This will be Adam Nener’s first Senior Head Coaching role after spending the last 2 SBL seasons as the Willetton Tigers Assistant Coach. Adam also was Willetton’s D-League Coach and has a strong development focus. He has over 20 years playing experience in leagues across Australia. Adam is a well-respected personwho was an exceptional defensive point guard with a very high basketball IQ. He will use his extensivebasketball background to develop a sustainable program not only for the SBL team, but also a pathway forthe athletes wanting to represent Cockburn Cougars when they finish their junior WABL commitments.

Cockburn Basketball Association would like to congratulate John on his re-appointment and also welcome Adam to the Cougar Family. The club is looking forward to this new chapter and adding to our rich history.
