Currently in the men's side, Joondalup head coach Ben Ettridge has an unassailable lead and will be the North All-Star head coach with the Wolves cemented into a top two spot in the standings and the highest North side, regardless of the result with Goldfields this Saturday Night.

Cockburn Cougars head coach and 2015 Coach of the Year, Matt Parsons can guarantee himself the head coaching role of the South All-Stars with a win this weekend over the East Perth Eagles to put his team in a top two position with a 9 & 2 record.

Aaron Trahair in his debut season coaching in the SBL with the Geraldton Buccaneers is in a position to guarantee himself the assistant role with the North side if his team can defeat the South West Slammers on Saturday night at Active West Stadium to give them a record of 8 & 3.

The Willetton Tigers will play a double header in week 8 which means Stephen Black can potentially take his team to a record of 8 & 3 and depending on other results secure a coaching role with the South All-Stars.

Mark Utley also faces a double header in week 8 with the Rockingham Flames taking on the Perth Redbacks and the Mandurah Magic. In the same position as the Tigers, the Flames can also move to 8 wins and 3 losses which would put Utley in the mix for a coaching role with the South All-Stars.

Stirling's Mike Ellis could potentially secure an assistant role with the North All-Stars if the Senators win both their games this weekend and the Buccs lose to the Slammers.

Goldfields Giants head coach Michael Haney has a chance at the assistance coach position with the South All-Stars if his team can defeat the Wolves on Saturday and other results go their way.

The SBL All-Star Games will take place at the Bendat Basketball Centre on the ‘WA Day’ Monday Public Holiday, June 6 at the Bendat Basketball Centre.

The SBL has partnered with Kiewit Australia for this event and proceeds will go to Lifeline WA to prevent people from suicide.

Women's All-Stars game will tip off at 12pm with the Men's game is scheduled for a 2pm start.

Tickets sold at the door: $10 Adults and $5 Children or Concession with proceeds to Lifeline WA.
